From balancing the demands of career Aspirations in nursing school to navigating the complexities of single life and new relationships, my blog chronicles the multifaceted aspects of my life. through it all, poetry has been my solace, my sanctuary, and my means of self-expression. First and foremost,
I want to say hello.
Welcome, thank you for joining me
on this wonderful new journey
Going on a new path can be scary,
unknown twist and turns yet to unfold.
Discoveries waiting to be made,
like the treasure hunters of old.
I don’t know where I’m heading or
collectively truth be told.
I hope to find myself deeply,
you can come along with me.
As we travel the unbeaten path,
soul searching and self-love.
Taking us farther than we ever dared to dream of.
Each step we take, we move forward declaring our sovereignty.
Even through missteps or mistakes,
we’ll hold our heads high full of grace.
We’ll live our life with dignity,
proudly acknowledging what’s ours to take.
Not maliciously by any means,
just genuine understanding.
We’ll move at our own pace,
each one of us set out on our own fate.
We can stay accountable throughout what maybe undeniable,
even if we don’t see the meaning,
it’s only the beginning.
